Review Portal Privacy Notice

The True Troop Consulting Ltd collects the details you submit through this portal for the purpose of providing CV review, interview preparation and related career-support services.

Purposes: receiving and reviewing your documents, providing feedback, keeping you informed, supporting reasonable follow-up, and giving you secure access to the completed materials during the access period.
Lawful basis: taking steps at your request and performing the review service; legitimate interests in delivering, securing and improving that service; and consent for optional marketing only.
Data collected: name, email address, optional phone number, country/region, course or cohort, target role and interview details, consent choices, and submitted files.
Retention: submission details, source documents and returned materials are retained for 12 months after the request is completed so you can access your review and request reasonable follow-up. They are then permanently deleted through an automated process.
You can request earlier deletion at any time by emailing support@thetruetroop.com.
Access: documents are held in private storage and are only available to the authorised review team and to you through a protected, time-limited portal link.
Your rights may include access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

This notice was last updated on 18 July 2026. Retention is reviewed periodically and is never extended indefinitely “just in case”.
